Please stop hanging up on me

Like many of you reaching out to customer service has been an ongoing battle. Since January my bill has continually grown each and every month. I have tried calling to find out about any new promotions or even looking into signing a two-year contract to solidify a consistent price so we do not experience any surprises. Unfortunately, I keep getting hung up on. Has anyone else experienced this type of horrific customer service? Thankfully I am in a position where there are two other cable companies in my town who can offer me both Internet DVR service and cable.

Hello and good day to you @user_56372f. We appreciate your feedback about your experience with out phone reps. I know I would be frustrated if I was hung-up on too! You have come to the correct place for help with reviewing options for your account. For your protection please send us your full name including your complete service address in a direct message. Here are the steps for sending us a message.

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:



  • Click "Sign In" if necessary





  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon



  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there



  •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list



  •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line



  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window



  • Press Enter to send it

I was on chat and was transferred by 3 different people before being disconnected. I truly am boggled by this service.

@user_56372f​ I just experienced the same exact thing.  It seems as though Xfinity refuses to delete my account and personal information.
