Permanent Error Message

I keep getting a 'Permanent Error' message from one email address from a distribution list I manage. Anyone help get this corrected?

Typically this error applies when the address of the recipient is no longer active and therefore can't receive messages anymore. Have you checked you have the right e-mail address and the correct domain? Also, have you confirmed that the e-mail address is still valid?

Yes, the email address is still valid. The strange part of this issue is that I can send an email directly to the recipient with no problems when sending just to the address. The 'Permanent Error' message occurs when the email address is listed as part of a distribution list with other email addresses. Only this one email address kicks back to me.

@tawelty Can you see that particular address in the sent distribution list?  Are all of the addresses sent using BCC?  [Is this a distribution list you manage?]  Check the email address against one in your address book, groups vs. single address.  Sometimes a period will copy as a comma or instead of comcast.net it is comcast.com.

Also, did this just start? after having sent correctly from the distribution list?

Yes, the email address is the same one in the distribution list. It shows up in the sent distribution list. I've deleted the individual email address and re-entered it several times, but nothing seems to work. I do manage the list and all the email addresses are listed for everyone to see. The issue has been going on for several months.
