Peacock Premium perk redeem from email not working

Hello,

Twice recently, including today, I've received an email that states "Peacock is already yours. Claim it now at no extra cost.  As a Platinum Xfinity member, you get Peacock Premium ($12.99/mo value) included at no extra cost."  I am a platinum member (shows that when I log in to xfinity.com).  I would like to have peacock premium, for free and only for free.  I do not wish to pay for it.  However, when I click on the "redeem peacock" link in the mail and log into xfinity.com , and go to my "membership benefits" tab, or the link in the mail, or xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions , there is no peacock premium perk or peacock premium free offer to be found.  There are others, but not peacock premium.  It is nowhere.  I tried the online chatbot and it was useless. I called the 1-800 number and the guy on the other end tried to sell me a different xfinity internet plan instead.  I am now trying these forums.  Please give me the peacock premium for free that I was offered; it is frustrating to waste time on logging into and navigating the slow website and talking on the phone with a support person who tries to upsell me instead of help me.  I do not want to change anything else.  I do not want to extend my contract or change my plan.  I just want the free peacock premium that you keep emailing me about.  Thank you for any help.

@user_qzon3d Thanks for adding a post to the community. As well for being a Platinum Rewards member, that is awesome. We have the steps to redeem the reward here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/peacock-premium-offers. Scroll down to the section for redeeming it as a Diamond Rewards member, it is the same process for Platinum members.

@XfinityBenny I am happy Xfinity read my post, but that response and that link does not help.  I found that article before making my original post, while googling this seemingly intractable problem.  Did you read step 1 and compare to my post?  Its step 1 says:

"Go to xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions and log in to your account with your primary Xfinity ID and password.

Clearly I did not see a Peacock subscription listed, so I went to xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions , as mentioned in my original post.  There was nothing about Peacock Premium there, or at the Xfinity StreamStore link.  I could never do step 3 in your link because there was never any mention of Peacock Premium to activate.

As @user_81f46c mentioned, I'm far from the only one experiencing this.  Other people are posting similar reports on reddit, posts here, etc.  However, I'm posting in an official support forum, laying out all the steps in detail, asking for Xfinity to please make this right.  If fixing your website is not on the table, then you could just grant my account Peacock Premium.  Or at the very least, stop sending me and others emails with offers that are fake.

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Fully echo the comments by the user above and many other customers on this forum and elsewhere such as Reddit. I have the same problem. I'm not sure I can recall a more frustrating customer experience than repeatedly receiving emails stating that I'm entitled to something that then seems impossible to obtain.

It's unclear whether this is corporate incompetence or a deceptive consumer practice. The more complaints and the longer that time passes, the more it seems like an intentional deception. Perhaps someone with sufficient authority at Comcast can assign meaningful resources to end this doom loop. Surely you have a legal team that monitors complaints, one of which will lead to a consumer class action if that hasn't happened already. Is Comcast's marketing team or their outside consultants paying any attention? It's a remarkable unforced error to frustrate longtime customers with what appears to be an illusory offer.

As I already mentioned:  the same exact problem and sequence as @user_qzon3d described above.

This is an extensively documented problem affecting numerous, long-term customers like us:

1) Receive repeated emails about being eligible for Peacock Premium due to Diamond status;

2) Click the link in the email and later follow the protocols listed online, all of which lead to dead ends;

3) Call customer service and listen to aggressive and sometimes hostile up-selling;

4) Try to return to life as a complacent and largely contented customer but then...

5) Receive another round of emails telling me I have something that I can't access.

I'd really like to believe that the Comcast brain trust doesn't intend to gaslight its most loyal customers. But when the company can't or won't fix this despite months of customers describing the same doom loop, it seems intentional.

I'm having the same problem, emails since March. Going in a loop between activate and stream store. Support just disconnected after 10 minutes.

EDIT: An agent was able to get this resolved for me through chat although it took awhile

I have chatted with three different agents and they have yet to resolve the issue. One told me to just go the the Xfinity Store, which I'm not sure how that would help.
