Payment arrangements

The system allowed me to set up a payment arrangement and now I’m being told it can’t be honored ?

The concern is not "Home Networking" help related......... Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_wuoo, and thank you for reaching out here on our Xfinity Community forums.

We can understand how frustrating and confusing it would be to receive confirmation of a payment arrangement only to later learn it may not be honored.

If the arrangement is no longer showing as active, we recommend signing in to your account and checking the available payment options through Xfinity Assistant. If another arrangement is available for the account, you’ll be able to review and set it up there.

If no payment arrangement option is available, the account may no longer meet the eligibility requirements, and the past-due balance may need to be addressed before services can be restored.

(Thank you @EG for helping to enable us to review this concern.)

From what the agent told me it still shows for the date of the 30th but they can’t honor it since it’s a past due balance. However I set the arrangement for the past due balance.

Thank you for clarifying @user_wuoo. We can understand why this would be confusing, especially since you set up the arrangement specifically for the past-due balance, and it is still showing for November 30.

We’d like to review the account details and confirm whether what you’re seeing is an active payment arrangement or a scheduled payment, as these can affect the account differently. Please send us a Direct Message with your full name and complete service address so we can take a closer look with you.
