Hi there! We're sorry to hear you're having trouble signing in to Paramount Plus. Just to clarify, Xfinity does not provide Paramount Plus for free—it is a separate streaming service that requires its own subscription.
If you subscribe to Paramount Plus directly through their website or app, you'll need to sign in using your Paramount Plus account credentials. If you’re trying to access it through Xfinity, you can find the app on your X1 or Flex device, but you'll still need an active Paramount Plus subscription to log in.
Let us know if you need help navigating the app or checking your subscription details—we’re happy to assist!
I am beyond annoyed! I have Paramount+Showtime in my Xfinity Ultimate TV package as one of my premium channels, but now have to pay separately for the Paramount+ streaming app. Originally, I could sign into that app for free when Comcast/Xfinity was shown as a provider. In talking with a rep at Paramount+ Streaming App today, I was told that they offer their app For Free to people who have the Paramount+Showtime premium channel on their cable TV service. But guess what, Xfinity isn’t on the list to click to sign in to the app and use for free. Many other cable providers are in that list!! Xfinity needs to get this straightened out ASAP and have their name added to the list of service providers whose customers will get the streaming app for free. Especially since the premium channel they sell (Paramount+Showtime) does not include all of the content available on the Paramount+ streaming App.!!
Hello @LindaA1 Paramount+ with SHOWTIME on Xfinity provides access to SHOWTIME live channels and On Demand content, along with some Paramount+ originals. Content is accessed through your X1 box or the Xfinity Stream app. However, a separate subscription is required to access the standalone Paramount+ app, as the Xfinity subscription does not include app access.
