Paid for NBA League Pass on the NBA site. Linked it to my Xfinity account. Can't watch any League Pass games from my channel guide

Description says it all.  Any attempt to select an NBA League Pass game from the channel guide results in a message telling me I must upgrade.  NBA site says I'm paid for the year, and Xfinity is my TV Provider.  How do I get this recognized on my Xfinity account?

Hi @user_qjbmya Thank you for reaching out today regarding the NBA League pass that you purchased. Since you purchased the pass through the NBA site the channels will not be available to you through the X1 box. You would only be able to watch through the NBA app, Xumo, or the NBA app on Flex. In order to watch on your X1 cable box it would need to be purchased through the X1 cable box.

@XfinityJanelle​ I purchased an upgraded Comcast package, to access NBA games, and linked to my TV, and still cannot watch the games.

You have to purchase through Xfinity and then link your subscription to the NBA app (or, website). You can’t link LP purchased through the NBA app/site to a tv provider.

I have also been experiencing this problem for the first time this year. In previous years, I was able to link my LP subscription (paid for via NBA, not Xfinity/X1) to my account and watch it via cable box. This is the first year that this has not worked for me, and this seems to be a new problem which was newly created by Xfinity.

@user_hgub5t​ I did purchase through Xfinity, and I am linked to the NBA website. It says I am successfully linked through my Xfinity account, and it says "watch now" but I still cannot access on my TV through my Xfinity box. This is very frustrating.

user_kow0i0 Can you confirm that what you purchased was NBA League Pass? When you go to "watch now" is it giving you an error message?
