outage

When will xfinity fix the wifi outage in Urbana, IL? It has been out since last Thursday (06/29) and the electricity has been back for two days now. This is ridiculous that I have to pay the full amount of money for my service when there's no update about when the wifi will be fixed or any customer service agent with whom I can talk to. I am a graduate student and need wifi in order to work on my studies and thesis. This is the worst customer service and wifi experience I've ever had. For anyone considering using Xfinity in UIUC area, DONT.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_ab9aa3 I appreciate you creating a post on our Community Forums and am sorry to hear that you've been without your services for so long. While power being restored is a priority, we typically need to wait until the utility co. has completed their work before our teams are able to work on restoring our services. There can also be several factors that can delay our work, but I'm confident that our teams are working as quickly as they can to get services back online. You can always monitor any updates that come in right from the Xfinity app or website as well.

Once services have been restored, you can also request a credit for the time service has been down right from the website. We can also help review the account and credit the account as well if you run into any further issues online.

@XfinityThomasD This doesn't answer my question though. Can you please give an estimation? All utilities work in the building, but the wifi doesn't. It is safe now. I just would like to have an update.
