Outage support

It’s not appropriate to reschedule network upgrades at 8 am the morning of the scheduled upgrade. You are stealing money from your work from home customers.

Thanks for reaching out to us, as a customer myself who went through the network upgrades here a couple months ago I do understand your concerns. Network upgrades are done to improve the network system and depending on your area you could be upgraded to next generation speeds https://www.xfinity.com/network .

We do apologize for any inconvenience and you can track the status of the service interruption via the awesome Xfinity app https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/check-service-outage . You can also looked to connect to our awesome xfinity hotspots https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet to get connection during the time of the service interruption

@XfinityOrlandoM It would be a FERPA violation for me to teach from a public location, so I can’t use your public hotspot. They upgraded literally 6 months ago costing me two full days of pay. It would be one thing, if you were honest about when repairs would be done. Internet access was cut off for two hours today before you decided not to finish the job even though it was only 8 am.

We do apologize for any inconvenience,  the hotspot is just an FYI. Your employer should understand since you're working from home so they can't really do much about it since they know Internet connection for residential services can go in and out.

When they were doing upgrades for a whole week in my area, I would lose connection here and there and I would just send my supervisor a screenshot of the Xfinity app showing the service interruption in the area

But if you see a service interruption on the app,  just know our awesome techs are working fast to get everything back up and running for everybody in the area
