Outage not being fixed?

It's been 19 hours since the outage started. The roads are plowed, all travel bans have been lifted. And yet the ETA for my service being restored is "as soon as possible" for the last 19 hours. Would love to know what Xfinity is doing, since they're ignoring the clear and safe conditions and could fix the service.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@XfinityJeniece yeah it says as soon as possible. I didnt know "asap" would be almost 24 hours now. Would be faster to switch providers.

user_2ldxt3 That means our local team is still working to repair the service in the area. The best option now would be to set up a text notification. You can set up notifications online or through our Xfinity App. As soon as our team has an estimated time for resolution, we'll let you know by text. Thanks again for your patience while we restore services in the area.

I have one. I guess I'll just have to wait literal DAYS for wifi is crazy. Was already on the fence about switching and this is crazy. At the very least I should get an accurate ETA and not 24 hours of "as soon as possible". Conditions here were clear. Every other person I know without Xfinity has their internet fixed already

user_2ldxt3. I completely understand your frustration. Our local team provides the ETAs, and when one isn’t available, it means they’re still actively working on the repairs and can’t give a timeframe yet. For now, we’ll need to wait for the repair to be completed.
