Not receiving messages from one person

I am not receiving any messages from one person. I have in the past but for the past 4-5 days I have received nothing. From what I read I am supposed to send a direct email but I cannot fine the message icon that it recommends. It is not anywhere on my screen.  This is extremely important to receive these messages. Please help.

In order for us to have a better understanding of your difficulties, it would be helpful if you could provide some additional information.  

You state you are not receiving message from one person.  

Through what medium are these messages being sent to you?  (i.e. email, text, voicemail, etc.) 

Any details that you can provide as to how they are being sent will give us a better ability to be able to guide you toward a solution.

It is through email. I get other emails and other people he is copying on the email receive the emails, but I get nothing. It’s as if he is cut off from me completely.m

Ok @user_7bk3ni, now we have a better understanding of how you are supposed to be receiving these emails.  Without specifying your exact email addresses, can you tell me if the email these messages are being sent to you on is one provided by Xfinity (i.e. @comcast.net)? 

If it is an Xfinity provided account, we can definitely assist with this.  

Or is it another domain you have your emails coming to such as @gmail.com or @iCloud.com or perhaps a personal domain?

If the email address you are using is not provided by Xfinity, you will need to contact your provider for assistance.

However, you may also want to check your spam settings and junk mail settings as well.

I was able to email him and he received and replied but I never received his reply.

No it is not a comcast email that I am aware of. You are my provider so I am not sure who else to ask for help. I have checked both spam and jipunk and he is not in there,
