No real info during an outage
y internet went down at 630pm. Notice said that it would be back up at 940pm. However when I looked at the outage map, there were no outages.
Still was not up the following morning. Notice said ETA soon, map still did not show any outages. Tried repeatedly to get more information or talk to a live person. The customer service number tells you there is an outage and then hangs up on you. I traveled to another location because I work from home. Received notice around 1030am that it was back up. Waited till I had a break in my meetings, dashed home at 3pm and got set back up and it went back down 5 min later. Notice says soon, and again no outage on the map. We really need a way to get real info!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey there, user_afni3k, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your service interruption. I work from home as well and I know how important it is to have a solid internet connection. I would be happy to check on the details.
