No Internet

My diagnostic says Wi-Fi doesn’t have a valid IP configuration. Is this something you can help me with?

Thanks for reaching out. This error usually means your device isn’t getting a network address from the Wi‑Fi router. Please try the steps below in order.

Fully restart everything
Turn off your computer
Unplug your modem and router from power
Wait 60 seconds
Plug the modem back in first and wait for it to come online
Plug the router back in
Turn your computer back on and reconnect to Wi‑Fi

Forget and reconnect to the Wi‑Fi network
Go to your Wi‑Fi settings
Forget or remove the current Wi‑Fi network
Reconnect and enter the password again

Renew the IP address
Open your network settings
Make sure the connection is set to obtain an IP address automatically
If you see an option to Renew or Refresh the connection, select it

Try another network if possible
If you can connect to a phone hotspot or different Wi‑Fi network and it works, the issue is likely with the original router
If it does not work on any network, the device may need further troubleshooting

If the issue continues, please let us know whether you’re using Windows or macOS and whether other devices can connect to the same Wi‑Fi. We’ll be happy to help further.
