No internet after Hurricane Beryl with inaccurate restoration time

Here's the revised version of your paragraph:

---

Hurricane Beryl knocked my power out on 7/08/2024, and it was restored later on 7/15/2025. The initial restoration time was supposed to be 4:40 PM on that day, but since then, it has been constantly changing. As of now, on 7/21/2024, it still says that the power will be restored as soon as possible. I can't work because I can't take any new requests—I’m a transcriber—and this has been a massive inconvenience. I just want to understand when I will actually get an accurate restoration time because this has been absolutely ridiculous given the amount of time.

Hello user_1j0lg8 thank you so much for taking the time to reach us here regarding your ongoing service concerns. Using our Xfinity Status Center, we do provide the most up-to-date information we have regarding any area repairs, but this can change over time. If you haven't done so already, we do encourage you to sign up for our free text alerts system, so any changes to that ETA will be sent to you when those updates come in.

Please accept my most sincere apology for the experience you have encountered. If the Xfinity Status Center and the Xfinity App do not have an update, we would not have any additional information to share as well. Please be sure to check periodically to see if any update populates or estimated time of restoration. @user_1j0lg8

Thank you for your response. I understand the challenges involved in restoring power after such significant weather events. However, the inconsistency in the restoration timeline has made it extremely difficult for me to plan and manage my work as a transcriber.

Is there any way to get a more accurate estimate for when the power will be fully restored? Any additional information, even if tentative, would be greatly appreciated as it would help me make necessary arrangements in the meantime.

I apologize, but as mentioned above, we do not have any additional information to share outside of the information provided by the Xfinity App. I would recommend once again to periodically check the Xfinity App to see if any updates have been provided. @user_1j0lg8

@user_1j0lg8 that makes two of us my Internet went out the same day and I was scheduled for the repair on the 7/15 as well, still to this day my Internet hasn't been fixed and still says asap, I've checked forums, reddit, YouTube, call centers and even talked to a representative, they offer no new information, eta or anything useful just giving constant incompetence and lack of responsibility knowing there are a lot of people without internet for over 2 weeks.
