No confirmation email
Howdy,
A few things!
I never recieved a confirmation email after signing up for Xfinity Internet. I checked my spam folder and it's not there either.
When I log in to the Xfinity website, I get taken to a 'no account' page that says
"Thanks for your purchase, _ !
We're getting your account set up. Check back soon to track and activate your services."
I had an installation scheduled for today, 8-10am, but the tech did not arrive.

Hi,
I'm having the same problem. I made a new account 2 weeks ago and so far the login page has been stuck saying "Thank you for your purchase, please check back soon to activate your account."
I didn't get a confirmation of purchase email, only an email to confirm the email associated with the account. I talked to customer service on the phone and they said to purchase the plan again but I'm afraid of getting charged twice and the plan I previously bought is now more expensive. I'm pretty sure that if I waited until my scheduled installation nobody would show up.
Just wondering if you ever found a solution to the problem!

I also had this problem. I went through the steps online to purchase an internet plan and after submitting the order I was taken to the home page, there wasn't even a message that said "were getting your account set up". I checked my email and there was no confirmation email either. After waiting two days with no updates I noticed there was a charge and credit from Xfinity on my credit card, so I guess the order didn't go through.
What worked was doing as @user_30a524 suggested by completing the order again. This time I got a confirmation email right away. I'm disappointed that Xfinity can't creating a working order page, but at least it's working now.
