NJ data cap
I have been on the one gig internet tier and never had a data cap.
Is this now changing?
I have 3 kids home schooling on video every day. Then gaming and streaming after school.

Thanks.
so having the 1 gig speed is a waste then. We are always over the cap with 5 people in the house and everyone streaming

I definitely understand how important it is to have unlimited data as I just upgraded not too long ago myself since I work from home and have kids who do a lot of streaming and online schooling! We are the perfect team to assist!
There are 4 great ways to track data usage. One is by signing in to the Usage Meter page under the My Account section at https://comca.st/34Rdwhy. The second way is by saying Monthy Data Usage into your X1 Voice remote control which is my favorite if you are a video service subscriber on our awesome X1 platform! The other two ways are through the XFINITY My Account app and the XFINITY app.
The best way to monitor data usage in my opinion is by accessing the Usage Meter webpage in My Account or in the Xfinity My Account app and the XFINITY app for mobile devices. I recommend monitoring the data use when utilizing each device individually to pinpoint which devices are using the data and which devices are connected to your network.
