NFL

I am severely disappointed with the war with the NFL broadcasting situation. We bought the sports package to get the NFL Network and the Red Zone which my Wife and I have watched every Sunday for years. We recently moved to Albuquerque and thought there would be no trouble once we set up our cable package. Obviously this is a major disappointment. I really do not know who is to blame, but if ESPN Network is charging what Xfinity says is unreasonable, then Xfinity needs to figure out how to still bring the NFL and Red Zone to its customers. This is either by sending a letter to people stating there is a slight price increase or keep the price the same and cut channels that are just garbage, and there are a lot. The NFL is also to blame in their greed. They have more and more games on diffrent nights; this is OK but we have to buy more streaming to see the games. It looks like the NFL has their hands in a lot of peoples pockets and seems to be stronger than our government. Face it folks, the NFL doesn't care about the individual - look at the cost of going to a game, the merchandise and other items. Really, I am a Baseball guy and they are getting bad too, but, so far they aren't [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] the fans as bad yet. We'll see what their bargaining agreement comes up with on December 1. Either way between the NFL (who is the worst of the bad guys) and Xfinity we have to realize we are just the innocent victims.

Hello @user_f0r0bt, and thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns here on our Xfinity Community forums.

It's clear how much the NFL Network and RedZone mean to you and your wife, especially as part of a long-standing Sunday tradition. 😀

After relocating and getting your services set up, it's understandable that changes involving programming you value would be frustrating and disappointing.

You also raise broader concerns that many sports fans can relate to, including the increasing complexity of where games are available to watch, the number of services required to follow a favorite sport, and the impact that business negotiations can have on customers. Feedback like yours is important because it reflects the real-world effect these decisions have on viewers who simply want reliable access to the programming they enjoy.

We appreciate you sharing your perspective and taking the time to explain how this situation affects your household. Customer feedback helps ensure these concerns are heard and considered as programming and service discussions continue.
