Newsmax

We received a letter some weeks ago about channels moving and new channels added.  Newsmax was being added at 1115. I tuned in this morning and it requires a subscription, sigh. I went to my account to see how much it would cost and I can't seem to locate it to add it or to see how much it costs.  What's up Xfinity? How do I do this? It doesn't seem to be under any of the categories, ie. premium, sports, international, etc. Help would be appreciated. I can't see how you even dare to charge for this as it's a free app with the channel streaming for free on my iPad.

The private message was of no help as that tech insisted that I didn’t have the correct package. I found the solution in another post which suggested rebooting the X1 box and the router which I did and hours later my channels updated.

To send a "Peer to peer" message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

I did all that in a private text hours ago. Right now it seems to be working. I reset my X1 box earlier in the day as well as the router. My package is Super + More.

This certainly is not a good comcast day for me. Right now I can watch Newsmax as an HD Channel rather than go to Pluto to watch it. I reset my tv box and the router. Maybe it took hours for the resets to help. Maybe someone on the Xfinity end did something good for me. On a conversation, I was told I need to change my plan. When I go to my account app on my iPhone it now shows up when I search for the channel. Don’t anybody go changing my plan! I’m frustrated, annoyed and offended. Xfinity redesigned their website and now I can’t find my equipment and all links lead to my bill. I get it, but my bill is not due until mid November. I need answers today not after my bill is paid. It’s never been paid late.
