New customer

Hello, I am moving out of my parents house and am wondering if I qualify as a new customer? I want to take advantage of the internet deal for $25 a month. My family has Xfinity mobile cell service and Xfinity internet/tv. This is all under my father’s name but I am on the cell plan and I have an Xfinity email. I would still be considered a new customer right?

Thanks for reaching out to Xfinity Support and for your interest in being part of our Comcast Family, @user_oym2n2. If you have not had service with us before or in the past 90 days, you would be considered a new customer. You can check your service address serviceability and rates HERE. The Xfinity Mobile service would be a different process. Are you interested in porting the Xfinity Mobile phone number into your new account?

@XfinityDilary hello, I don’t think I’m going to port my Xfinity mobile number over quite yet. I just want the internet service at this time.

No worries. If you are creating a new account and want to subscribe to the Xfinity Internet, you are eligible to receive a new Xfinity customer promotion. I do recommend using the link above to submit your address, view different packages, and installation. Online will be the best place to sign up for services. With our Online Price Guarantee, we promise that customers who shop and order new services on Xfinity.com will get the same – if not better – promotions and pricing as those offered over the phone with an agent or in-person at an Xfinity store. Do you happen to already have an address to where you are moving to so you can plan the installation ahead of time?
