New construction home – drop never run from street
An installation technician came out weeks ago, confirmed that no lines were ever run from the street to the house, and said they would submit the construction request. We have received no update since then.
Looking for help checking the status of the plant/construction work order. Happy to provide the full address privately if needed.

Hello @user_p0wdqm and thanks for reaching out on our Xfinity Community forums!
I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be to be waiting for service installation in a new home, especially when you're eager to get connected.
For new construction homes, installations can sometimes take longer than expected if additional work is required outside the home. In some cases, crews may need to complete street-side infrastructure work, extend existing facilities, or finish other construction-related tasks before service can be activated. This is especially common in newer neighborhoods or larger developments where multiple homes are being built at the same time.
We'd be happy to take a closer look at your specific situation. Please send us a Direct Message* with your full name and service address, and we'll review the status of the installation and any outstanding work that may be needed. We'll do our best to provide the most up-to-date information available and help guide you through the next steps.
