New construction

I am building a home and would like to start the process of running the internet through a conduit to my home. Based on the other forums I have read it seems like I need to reach out this way and direct message someone to get this done. I don't have anyway to direct message anyone yet though.

Thanks

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi there @user_7lxslf ! Congrats on the new home! It is actually against the forum rules to send us a private message without being invited to do so. If it is new construction we would need to make sure it is registered with local utilities and the post office to begin getting a plan in place. Do you know if that has been done?

Oh, oops sorry about that.
Yes it is registered at the post office and local utilities. It is in a long standing neighborhood.

@user_7lxslf No worries! I see your private message and the location is already set as serviceable in our system. From what you described, there is nothing that would need to be done pre-emptively. If the conduit is already run to the pole where the service feeds from, you can just set up a normal install when you're ready for service. The tech assigned should be able to pull it down to the conduit and get you connected. If for any reason we need to do anything more to secure the line, we would still run you a temporary cable to start service while we get that taken care of.
