New Construction

Hi,

I work at a Construction firm, we demoed and rebuilt a house, and I'm being told by my company that we need to set up for Xfinity to come install new underground cables as it was a demo and rebuild. When I call Xfinity, the reps on the phone tell me that the new construction is ready for service, when I ask them when the underground cables got installed they don't give me an answer and just reiterate that the address is ready for service and that a technician will install the cable when they come for the initial set-up for services.

Is there anyway to check and make sure that underground cables are actually set up?

I was told by people on the site that they saw Xfinity people flagging a few weeks ago, but never saw them again.

Thanks

Hello @cheg1249, and thanks for your post. Typically, what has to happen first is to set up a service, and then we send a tech out for installation. Once the tech is out, they will be able to assess the correct resolution and move forward with any work that might need to be done.

@XfinityPeterH Thanks Peter, are you able to look up and see if service is set up if I give you the address and owner's name? The owner previously owned this property and had Xfinity service before demoing the old house and having us build the new one.

Due to the security and protection of the account, we can only provide details about a service address if you are fully verified and authorized on said account.
