New construction home. New construction street. No internet lines ran down street.
I’m at a loss on what to do. One week ago I closed on my first home. A new construction house on a new street. As of this morning there are no internet lines ran underground down my street. The conduit has been run by a construction crew, but there are no wires. I am looking for a status update on when to expect it to be completed. My builder told me that all of the internet would be handled by Xfinity, and AT&T. I’m just looking to find out when the main installation will be completed so I can schedule an Xfinity technician to run internet from the road to my home. I am unable to get any answers anywhere else. I have called before and had a technician come out when I was unaware internet lines had not been installed yet. I am repeatedly told that my home and area is serviceable, but the technician was unable to do anything. Everyone that I have been in contact with just tries to schedule a service appointment to run internet in my home to the non existent internet line on my street. I do not mind waiting to an extent, but my partner works from home and part of our livelihood relies on an internet connection. I have no idea on who to contact at this point, any help would be greatly appreciated.
