Neglecting down wire in my yard

Last night we had very strong winds, and my wifi went out. We tried everything to fix it but we're unsuccessful. This morning, we looked outside and our cable line was down, crossing our sidewalk and laying in the middle of the street. It fell off of two telephone poles. I immediately called and did an online request for a hazard. A few hours went by, so I called to see what was happening and if someone was coming. I was told someone was coming to fix the wire. I called 2 additional times and was told someone was coming out by 11:30pm. Mind you I called at 11am or so to report. It is now 11:20pm, i just got off the phone with a representative who told me no one was scheduled today and they'll be out tomorrow but still can't give me a time frame. One of my neighbors must've pulled my wire out of the street and wrapped it up on my front lawn. To be lied to about it on top of everything else is ridiculous. Also the wire pulled my electrical wires off of my house also.

Side note, the person I was speaking to on Saturday night when our wifi went out was extremely inappropriate with what he was saying to me over messenger. Would love to show someone those messages as well. All of this is making me rethink using xfinity home internet. I also use xfinity for my mobile plan but after this horrible customer service, inappropriate messages and being lied to over something pretty serious, maybe this isn't the company for me to use anymore.

user_ajbdo2 I know if I were in your shoes I would be pretty frustrated too. Thank you for letting us know. Our team is here for you and happy to assist. Please send us your full name and address in a direct message.

Here is a great step by step process on how to send us a direct message.

  Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it

Check out for example on how to send us a Direct Message:  https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/cant-create-a-new-email-address/605e52b726aa974d63032d02?commentId=606107ea738c7f46a02b830e
