Needed Device Activation but Technician Never Showed [Edited]
Let me save you some time: [Edited: "Inflammatory"] They’ll promise you help, but deliver nothing but frustration and wasted hours.
I needed a simple device activation—they told me it was all set. Spoiler: it wasn’t. So I contact support again, and guess what? They promise me a technician will come out to fix it. I clear my entire day, sit around waiting like a clown… and surprise surprise—nobody ever shows up.
No call. No update. Just radio silence.

Thanks for absolutely ruining my day, again

Hey @user_6l7inm, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to reach out with the Xfinity Internet activation issues.
We can most certainly assist in troubleshooting the connectivity. Are you using an Xfinity xFi Gateway or using your personally owned modem? If using an Xfinity xFi Gateway, what status and color of the LED? Our 'What the lights on your Xfinity Gateways mean' support page goes over the LED status meanings.
Is the modem showing a solid white LED indicator? That helps show the device is connected to the Xfinity Network.
