Need Router Replacement ?

We have gone to having one or two issues in the last five years of service to having several issues every week for the past six months. We have done troubleshooting on our own many times, and in the end the problem gets resolved every time. But we have been renting the same router from Xfinity for a long time. Is it possible that it is time to come and replace it to help with our connectivity issues?

Hi there @user_7defa3!  Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to Xfinity Support here on our Community Forum.  We're glad to hear from you and happy to assist in addressing your internet service concerns.  No worries!  You have reached out to the right team, and we are going to do everything that we can to get things squared away for you.  If you are looking to replace your device, we can always work to have a device shipped out to you or you can simply swap the device for an upgraded gateway in your local Xfinity Store.  Please feel free to shoot us a private message so that we can assist further.  

 

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging 

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it
