My voice control on my remote will not work why

Everything on the remote works, except for the voice control

user_qomv0d thanks for using the Forums to reach out. The voice control feature is by far one of my favorite things about Xfinity, it's really handy for navigating your equipment. How long has this issue been present for you?

My voice remote feature is disabled. Hiw can I enable this feature?

@maxg10 Is your voice control not working? Have you changed out the batteries from the remote? You can also go to your Settings > Remote Settings > Voice Control. Make sure it is set to on. If it doesn't work with either of these, you are welcome to go by a Xfinity Store to pick up a new remote at no charge.

I just got a Xumo device and the accompanying voice remote today, everything is working perfectly except for the voice command function. I have tried resetting, re-pairing, and changing the batteries and nothing has made the voice command work.

HI there, snarknado! I love your user ID, it made me smile! 😀 We are happy to further help with the voice remote for the Xumo Stream Box. You did great resetting, re-pairing, and changing the batteries. 

If you visit the About section of the X1 Settings, Xumo Stream Box Settings. Is the battery level showing green since you changed them? 

Are you seeing a certain error message come up on the screen when you press the voice button or does nothing happen?
