Are you having issue with a cable box or modem? When you connect the device do any lights show up or blink?

I just brought a new TV and was having trouble with the box.  Went to Xfinity yesterday and got a new one as I thought that was the problem  Same thing is happing with new box.  It come on with a flashing green light but then shuts of after a minute or two.

@user_230efc​ thank you for taking time out of your day to reply to this post. I understand wanting to find a resolution for the set-top box shutting off after a minute or two. Working with customers in the past, this issue seemed to be related to a Xumo box. Is this the box you are having issues with? 

If it is the Xumo set-top box having issues, here is a great Xfinity Forums post where our great community members have found a accepted solution: Hold the home button on the remote, and the button under the Xumo box.
