Multiple Service interruptions

Why is my service being interrupted for 'performance issues' when I'm not having any multiple times over just 3 weeks?  It feels like Comcast wants me to go elsewhere for my internet needs.  My spouse works remotely and internet reliability is vital.

Hey @user_corey, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We would be more than happy to help review any service issues that may be taking place. Have you used our Xfinity App or Xfinity Status Center to view if there are any active service interruptions? If there are not any service interruption when the modem goes offline, that could indicate a different issue. When the Internet happens to not work, what is the LED on the modem doing and what color?

I don't need to use an app to know when I don't have service.

It's real simple: service is down, then I get a txt from xfinity saying they are aware of a 'network performance issue and that may be affecting my service and needs to be repaired right away.

Duh.

As for the lights on my modem, they are green and don't provide any other color.  When service is down,  the internet symbol is unlit.

This has happened 4 times now in 3 weeks.  What's going on at Xfinity?  They say they have fast and RELIABLE internet. That is not proving to be the case lately.

If there are service interruptions, whether it being an unplanned service interruption, network maintenance, or planned network upgrades, it can cause the services to be interrupted for a small moment of time. We can certainly help confirm the service interruptions, but would not have any additional information or details on the work that is being performed.
