Moving to an apartment community which has its own Comcast plan

I’m the current Comcast user and already had a contract of 2-year $60 plan. However, I’ll move to a new apartment where its community has a special $50 plan for all the residents living there, which will directly charge us on the monthly rent. Therefore I’d like to cancel my current $60 plan while moving out to the new apartment. How should I process this? I cannot do the transfer online given the new plan is a special agreement between the new community and Comcast. How should I do?

Hello @airpingu, thank you for taking the time to reach out to us on the forums I hope you are doing well. I understand the confusion this would cause when you are moving into a new home that has services as part of your monthly rent. You have reached the right team to help you with how to proceed with this process.

Since your new home will already have services with us and be included as part of your monthly rent with them you won't need to transfer your account to the new location. What you would do instead is set up a disconnection for your current account when you move out and the new home should already be set up for you as they have it as part of the monthly rent already.
