Moving to a new house and I want overlapping service at our old and new address. Is this possible and if so, how?

We are moving in a few weeks and we would like to have overlapping service at our new AND old address. A few days ago, I setup an order for our service to switch on Feb 9th but this is to MOVE the service from our old address to new. My wife and I later realized we really need to have overlapping service at both locations. I tried calling support and I could not get any help in changing my order so I can KEEP SERVICE at both location for a few weeks. 

IS there a way for me to have an overlap of service and if so, how can I go about that?

@Adamator That's an excellent question. I am sorry to say that services can only be active at one location at a time.

@XfinityRobertA​ I found old posts on here where other people asked the same question and they were told it is possible (and got help to do so)  Have things changed? What if I simply have a new account for the new location? I’m having trouble believing this isn’t possible.

Hey @Adamator,

 

You would only be able to have one active account per address. If you wish to have two active accounts, one at each address, you can most certainly do so. If you still have a pending transfer, cancel the transfer and start a new account online by visiting https://www.xfinity.com/learn/offers and select a second offer for the new address.
