Moved to new address
Moved to a new address. Xfinity says service is pending activation on my end at the new address. It’s an old house and the only coax cable is in a bedroom, and it won’t connect or activate after trying multiple times. I’d like to figure out the problem but also have the modem in a different room.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

After four days of calling and chatting online with xfinity, while having to miss work as I work remotely, xfinity tells me they had reconnected service at my OLD house rather then connected it at my new house. Once we resolved that, I was still unable to activate new service due to the line being inactive, nor was I able to get a tech visit to the house within 8 days. Needless to say I canceled entirely and have gone with a different provider. I used 5 sick days and spent about 12 hulours chatting or on the phone before I threw in the towel. I’d been a customer since 2013. It’s a shame.
