MoCa - Non MoCa Systems.

Hello:

Im a Xfinity costumer and also I own a Low Voltage Company, I want to order for a client a new system...I will need a modem and 6 cable boxes that will be installed in a rack and send the AV signal through HDMI extenders.

My question is: Can I use for example 1dvr box XG1V4 and 5 Xi6? all the CBL boxes will be wired by ethernet cable so I can use only ONE coax for the modem (it will be in bridged mode since I install a full network system) the rack gets too messy and difficult to work splitting 6 coax cables trough the rack.

Thanks.

The concern is not "Community Knowledge Base" related............................. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Facu, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. The limit of cable boxes would be 3 for what you are talking about. Let us know what other questions you might have.

Thanks @XfinityAngie… I guess we cannot get ride of the old bulky coax🤦🏻‍♂️…

since all 6 CBL will be in a rack… which ones do you recommend that is slim, HD and through Coax (MoCa)??I want to try to have all the same CBL type.

It will be use exclusively for Live channels… all the app’s content I will use the smart TV.

Thanks
