Missed appointment, unable to message comcast

I scheduled a cable relocation for today, Sunday, from 1–3 p.m. because the line from the telephone pole to my house is obstructing construction. I was home all day and outside for most of that window. No one showed up, and the cable has not moved.

After nearly 45 minutes on the phone, I was told the third-party contractor had marked the job “complete.” The representative suggested it could have been done remotely because no one needed to enter my house. That does not explain how a physical cable could be relocated remotely—or why it is still in the same place.

I wasted two hours waiting and now have to take time off work Wednesday for another appointment because nothing sooner was available. This was entirely Comcast’s failure, not mine.

The unresolved relocation could delay construction or leave the cable vulnerable to accidental damage from equipment, potentially creating a hazard over the road.

I am requesting an expedited relocation, an explanation of why unfinished work was marked complete, and the maximum available credit—not just a standard courtesy credit—for the missed appointment and inconvenience. Please escalate this to someone who can resolve it and confirm the actual work will be completed.
