Manual extension promised in chat

I was promised a 24 hour extension with out service interruption. I waited one hour for my app to update with a new due date as promised but it did not. So I went back to the chat and asked why it hadn’t updated and I was told “sorry the agent was wrong and we cannot do that.” You service will be disconnected in a couple hours. I have been a customer for 10 years and I will be leaving Xfinity after this.

We can review the account to see what the status is to be sure, however it is true that we have no mechanism in the system to provide a 24-hour extension. Please send a direct message to us by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full name and complete street address.
