Make a complaint about NFL network

How long will it take to get an agreement to return the NFL network?

Good Morning, @user_mn2gng! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on Xfinity Forums! Thanks for reaching out about NFL programming. The agreement to carry NFL Network expired, so it’s no longer available with Xfinity. This includes NFL RedZone and any related Xfinity Stream and On Demand programming.

Please know Comcast pays programmers to bring you the entertainment you love, and, so far, Disney/ESPN has not proposed a deal that Comcast believes is fair for its customers. Comcast continues to work toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for its customers.

I know unexpected changes to your TV lineup can be inconvenient. Thank you for understanding. For more information, you can visit xfinity.com/programmingchanges.

Please let us know if you have any other questions/concerns, we are happy to help. Have a wonderful reset of your day.

So do we get a credit because not only do I not have NFL Channel but I also don’t have ABC after 30 days? This is getting ridiculous. That’s 2 major networks that I’m paying for a black screen. I pay extra for the Entertainment Package. Do I have to be concerned every first of the month to see what channels have been dropped that month? Also, why isn’t Xfinity sending out information by the first of the month to alert everyone? So sneaky. Guess I don’t have to worry about losing more channels because soon as I find another carrier I’m dropping Xfinity after 30+ years. THIRTY YEARS. but I’m done. $258 for basic cable, entertainment package and internet. I’m a one person household who’s retired and I can no longer justify that monthly bill. That’s crazy and I’m stupid for paying it. I need to have my head examined.

Few weeks ago I went to ABC channel to watch an end of season NHL game and a blacked out channel. Friday May 1st went to NFL channel like I do every morning and it’s blacked out. I pay extra to receive the NFL Channel. I’m paying extra for a blacked screen.  I will be dropping Xfinity after 30 plus years of being a customer.  I’ve stayed with them for decades throughout all the different name changes, TCI, Comcast etc and when everyone else cut the cord but I stayed. I’m done now. I’m furious and pay more money than I should $250 for internet and cable with the only extras is the Entertainment Package so I can receive Turner Classic and Red Zone and NFL Network. Seriously, one movie channel, TCM (old movies) bundled with sports channels??? What an idiot I am. $10 extra I think it is. Now I’m DONE!!!!  In the next few days I will find a different carrier.

Fortunately we have a good little while before training camp starts, @tbrown5. We certainly have folks working toward bringing this programming back, continue to stay on the lookout for more information!

I completely understand the frustration with losing the NFL Network. As a football fan I am not happy about this at all. The good thing is we will be doing all we can to bring back all the networks that you and everyone loves so much. There is no timetable, but we will do what we can to get your favorite networks back as soon as possible. I hope you have an amazing weekend.

I just don't know where to start. It's like deja vu all over again. The contract dispute with ESPN and Xfinity losing the NFL Network and NFL Redzone is so absurd. Maybe you need to get the commissioner involved again to help reach a deal like 3 years ago and hold your hand as well. I mean are you fully aware when the current deal expires? Instead of being proactive to work out an agreement you wait until the contract dispute begins and react to the situation. Many subscribers including myself are angry. You will tend to lose customers from situations like that. I'm frustrated and don't understand why this keeps happening.

Look here XfinityNatalie please don't come to me with your sympathy and thanking me for your understanding because I truly don't understand. It is highly frustrating for a long term customer like me. Xfinity and ESPN need to get on their p's and q's to work out a long term deal to get NFLN and Redzone back on the channel lineup. You are the top notch cable service in the country. A deal should have been done way before the contract expired. This is totally ridiculous.

I guess Xfinity/ Comcast doesn't like when the shoe is on the other foot. Xfinity can continue to go up and up but goodness don't do it to them! The nerve uh? ;-)

Xfinity continues to go up and up because they capitulate in to customers to just sign a deal.  Comcast is also a customer if you think about it.  They don't want to pay any more than is absolutely necessary, but at some point they will and then that increase gets passed to the customer, who complains about high prices.  Yes, high prices at what the cost?  It can't be both ways.  Sure we all would love to just pay $10 a month for cable and all the premiums and $10 for the fast internet there ever could possibly be.  That wouldn't last long: no tech support in the field, or here, on the phones, in the stores, etc.  You would have absolutely zip.  We all feel entitled but don't want to pay for it.

Yeah, the nerve uh? 😉

This is absolutely ridiculous. Xfinity is raising rates and taking away programming. If is always the same clam, “Comcast/Xfinity is looking out for the consumer”. I do not believe this for me minute. My best interests is a house filled with football 365 days a year. This girl needs her football and to see David Carr! Bring back the NFL Network! Don’t insult me by having the bot respond with the same answer on Repeat!
