Lost all my email from Xfinity “support” person
I had the worst experience I have ever had with Xfinity customer service yesterday, MJ was her name. My Xfinity email wasn’t syncing with my iPhone. She had me delete my iPhone email account, which then deleted all of my email except for one day. She has me change from imap to POP. Only 1 day of emails came back. The only way to restore it she said was to give me back all the emails since I started being an Xfinity customer (over 2 decades). Then she said I had to call Apple, she couldn’t help me any further. She said her supervisor was busy. I checked Google Gemini and found the solution while on the line with her. She had had me change to a POP account which only saves 1 day of emails. I had to switch back to an imap account and change the 3 digit number for the server to get it to sync again and recover my emails. Extremely stressful as I am in the middle of many projects. I told her in the end all we needed to do was change the 3 digit codes to get my phone to sync and leave as imap as it was. She should have never had me delete my Apple email account linked to Comcast in the first place. She NEVER apologized or took any responsibility. Thank God for Google Gemini.
