Loss of XFI Web Interface

I just received an email stating that XFI is being de-implemented and to use the mobile app.

I DO NOT want to use a phone app.  What alternative do I have to get the XFI functionality through my desktop?

Same here. Is this a scam to try and force us into buying a smart phone and paying an extra monthly fee? Seriously why would they shut down a useful tool like this. May be time to move to another company.

Hi! You can still view your internet usage on the Xfinity My Account desktop site. You must be signed in as the primary or manager.

@XfinityKyla​ With all due respect, you didn't answer the question.  According to the e-mail I received "Once the website is retired on June 7, 2022, you will be unable to adjust any of your WiFi settings, pause WiFi, or use other existing parent control settings unless you download the free Xfinity app" .  So I ask again - what am I supposed to do?

Thanks for requesting clarification, @cjdechristopher! I understand your frustration. Especially if you don't have access to a smartphone or tablet to download our xFi App. Unfortunately, as you mentioned the xFi features will be unavailable through the web, after June 7th, 2022. At this time, the only option to gain access to those features would be by downloading our xFi App. That would be the most updated information that we have to share with you. But we do understand the importance of having full access to manage your devices at home, and we welcome any feedback you can provide for us to improve. I will make sure to pass this information along. In the meantime, you can still use our Xfinity website to manage your Xfinity account.
