Looking for faster upload speeds
I would like to improve my upload speeds on my internet service. My current plan is rated at 800 Mbps down/15 Mbps up. There are plans offering higher download speeds (1000Mbps and 1200Mbps) in my area (near Scotts Valley, CA) but I can't find an option for higher upload speeds.
Is there any option to get higher upload speeds in my area and how do I do that?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@ccrim. Hi! I can understand wanting faster upload. All the devices in home these days and working from home, I am with you! The next tiers up in your area are Gigabit 1000 Mbps with 20 Mbps upload and 1.2GB download with 35 Mbps upload. As we expand our 10G upgrade more areas will get faster upload and we will send emails to let you know. https://corporate.comcast.com/press/releases/comcast-multi-gig-rollout-xfinity-10g-network-upgrade Please direct message your name and address if you would like to check pricing on those higher tiers.
Make sure you are signed in to forums
1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon(direct message) near the bell icon. 2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
2. Hit the compose button to the right of "conversations"
3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)
4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!

Okay, thank you. Xfinity's available plans web page only shows download speeds, not upload speeds. I did not know I could get higher upload with the higher tier plans.
Also, strangely, some web pages associated with my account say I had 800 Mbps plan, others show 1000 Mbps. Weird.
Anyway, I've gone ahead and jumped to the 1200 down / 35 up plan. Actually cheaper than my current plan even without the new 1 year contract.
Thank you for your help. You might want to pass along to someone the suggestion of listing both the upload and download speeds on the plan offerings. It didn't show that info until the final purchase confirmation page.
