How do speak to live customer support? Xfinity will quickly call you for money or upgrade a service but make it all but impossible to contact them directly. Looking into other IP services.

I just need to speak with a Xfinity rep on the phone about my account. Is that possible?

@user_37kxds when reaching out over Xfinity Forums we work over this platform. To speak with someone over the phone you can call 1-800-XFINITY. 

If you haven't checked, there is also the option to make changes to your account by logging in either online or through the Xfinity App and going to the plan builder:

To send a direct message: 

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window, please add your full name and address

• Press Enter to send it

I called the 800 number and it only give an option to receive a text message link for a virtual chat session. I only want to speak an actual person. Unbelievable, that its this difficult.

@user_37kxds sorry to hear that you're not able to get connected when attempting to call in, and bringing this to our attention. I'll pass this along to our leadership team to make sure there aren't any issues with routing/receiving calls.
