Line burial request in a public area

I am not a Comcast customer, but I live near an area that has an exposed cable running along the ground and laid over a public walking path. The walking path is a high traffic area where children walk every day to school. It poses both a tripping hazard and potentially an electrical hazard. I know it is a Comcast cable because I saw the Comcast trucks working there earlier this summer and saw them running the cable. I assumed they would come back and bury it but never did. This was months ago. How can I request someone to come out and bury the line.

Hello, @user_80529a! Thank you very much for reaching out to the community with this concern. That line is definitely something we'd like to address quickly, and I'd love to help in any way I can! Even as a non-customer, you should be able to submit a ticket via our Xfinity Assistant as long as you provide the requested information (address where line is located and your contact information as the submitter). Have you tried this yet? If not, I recommend typing "hazardous line" or "drop bury request" into the Assistant to see if it prompts you to submit a request for burial. Please let me know if this helps!
