Keep getting billed for and asked about old equipment

We had an old gateway we returned over a year ago in person at an Xfinity location near us. I’m still being billed for the equipment and still being sent emails asking for the equipment back. I don’t think the rep gave us any kind of proof of return. Just took my account info and said that was all they needed to mark the equipment as returned. Not sure what to do. I’ve told reps on the phone I already returned the equipment and even told the service guy when he was here for repairs I already returned it.
