It’s been 7-1/2 weeks since original problem. Still not resolved and my yard is a mess!

When is this mess going to be fixed?  Nearly 2 months now.   Getting tired

of spending $2400 per year only to have minimal response and bad repair service teeing up my yard!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Nearly 8 weeks ago I complained that my Xfinity box was starting, turning off, and restarting my LG tv up to 7 times each morning. This started happening about 2-3months ago when Xfinity updated some equipment in our area.  A technician arrived, determined my outdoor cable was not up to snuff and replaced it.  He was supposed to replace my Xfinity box.  He did not.  Problem did not go away.  Customer service sent me a new/used X1 box.  It’s worse than the old box. TV still starts and restarts every time you turn it on, unless I turn off the Xfinity X1 box first!  Then I can manually turn on the TV, and it stays on, then you can turn on the Xfinity X1 box and all is good.  The temporary cable the first tech unwittingly installed is still above ground and feeding into the house.  The underground cable was buried 9 days ago but has not been finished or powered up.  My yard is a mess where the underground installer tore it up with his machine and left the cable hanging out side my walk in garage door on the wrong side of the sidewalk!  Dirt all over the place.  Last week a man came out to look and made a report of the mess.   Pathetic way of doing business, I think!

I completely understand the reasoning for your frustrations and I will be more than happy to help with your request. To begin, would you mind sending me your name and the address to your account in a Direct message?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.

For an example of how to send us a Direct Message, check out this link.
