Issues with unsubscribing from promotional emails

I get daily promotional emails that I do not want. I have all marketing promotions turned off and they still spam me. I've asked customer service many times to fix it and they say, "ok, no problem" and then nothing changes. This is really poor business practice. [EDIT: Converted comment to post]
