Is this a scam or xfinity glitch
I have looked this issue up and this had happened 2 years ago, but still seems to go on. I got a text earlier today by a 934489 telling me that something went wrong with my account then acting like the xfinity assistant texts usually do. However, I am fully aware that assistants on xfinity is contacted through the website or by phone call and never by text (from my own experience of course) I just thought to bring this up as a pre-caution that this is still going on.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
