Is Peacock still free for diamond members?

Hi. I had a question about Peacock. Not too long ago, we used the rewards option and got Peacock premium free due to the fact that we were diamond members. We had to move and get new boxes, but according to Xfinity/Comcast, we still got Peacock for free. I reactivated it a few months ago with no problems. However, I tried getting on Peacock today and for some reason I couldn't access half the shows on it. No one told us anything about Peacock not being free. I read that you had to do the rewards thing again which didn't really make sense because I didn't want to get charged for two accounts because I thought diamond members got Peacock for free. I followed all the prompts, but it stated I had to add a credit card/paypal account, and I didn't know what to do. Do I have to call customer service to fix this? Like I said, I don't want to accidentally pick a plan and get charged for it. What do I do? Please advise.

Greetings @kissfreak1975-,

Thanks for visiting our community forums again! I'm glad you did not add a payment method, that would for sure bill you separately. When reviewing the account section of peacock it should show that you are being billed through Xfinity. When visiting xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions do you see peacock listed?

Hi.

I went to the link you provided, and it has a link for peacock premium and under the heading price it states included, and there's an activate link. Do I just follow that link? What do I have to do If it gives me payment information? I think I have two benefits used for Peacock, and I wasn't sure If I should've cancelled one before restarting another one. I'm not sure what to do. Please advise. If I hit the activate link, am I going to be charged? I thought it was free for diamond members.

Perfect, you described everything that I needed to know! Diamond members do indeed have peacock premium included at no additional cost. The subscription showing as included on that page means that the service code has been applied to your account properly, you just need to reactivate it again using the activate button on that screen. Please move forward with clicking that activate button, peacock should not ask for a payment method so long as you are activating the account that you have previously used. Can you circle back to let us know if that worked for you?

Hello,

I'm having problems activating it. I keep getting error messages that say that your xfinity account is already linked to another peacock account. How do I close that one? Please advise.

You may need to reach out to Peacock to see if the email is being used on another account with them. That is typically the issue. If they are not seeing any problems then we have a back end support team that can look for issues on the back end.
