Internet, TV and Phone Outages reported on Outage Map last 3 day days at approximately 9PM EST

Internet, TV and Phone Outages reported on Outage Map last 3 day days at approximately 9PM EST through 12AM EST in Pennsylvania 15143 zip code.  Service has been adversely impacted by these repeated outages (beginning 7/2/25).

Is Xfinity actually aware of this issue? If so, what action plan has been implemented?

@brunman31 - Thank you for taking the time to visit our community forum with these service interruption concerns. As you seem to already know, you're in a great place for support! Our Digital Care Team is awesome to work with because we'll always do whatever we can to review and resolve issues as quickly as possible. Based on what you've stated about these interruptions being reported in the Map, I would say we definitely do know about it, and I am positive our field team is working hard to implement a more permanent fix. We provide some ways for you to keep track of updates as they become available - you may use the Xfinity App and/or visit our Status Center for further details. Please let me know if that helps! And thank you so much for your patience while our technicians and engineers engage in a resolution.

Thank you for responding XfinitySara.  

Unfortunately, I do not see any further information in the Xfinity App and the Status Center link does not work.  A Page Not Found 404 error is received with the following message: 

"The page could not be found or you don't have permission to view it."

Please advise.

I have been one of the longest customers of Comcast/Xfinity...since the 80s. I reached a Platinum customer service level...apparently. However, that must not mean much because I have been on the phone trying to speak to someone about an outage in my area.  It comes across as "we'll take your $$$, but we don't a [Edited: Language] about providing REAL customer service to our customers when we want to speak to a LIVE human being."   That IS TERRIBLE customer service.  I told you the last time we spoke, how Verizon had been knocking on my door time and again to steal me from you and you don't have the decency to speak to me, but you will give a $300.00 bill??  This is what angry customers sound like when you give us the run around, take our money, drop our service without telling us and then leave us to your robotic voice mistress: Karen.  [Edited: "Inflammatory"]

XfinityFrank,

App/Outage map stated ASAP.  Service came back early Friday morning after being down for ~ 30 hours.

What was the root cause? 

Why has service been lost in Pennsylvania Zip Code 15143 five times since July 5?

What is being done to remedy this recurring issue?

Outage map displayed multi-hour outage at 11AM this morning, 7/28/2025 in PA 15143.

Outage map currently reporting another outage at 9PM, 7/28/2025 in PA 15143: 

"Channel(s), DVR, X1 TV, Internet, Voice, Internet TV outage detectedWe’re aware that you may be experiencing a service interruption at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. We're working to resolve the issue by approximately 07/28/2025 10:25 PM (Eastern). We apologize for any inconvenience."
When are these frequent outages in PA Zip Code 15143 going to be resolved?  What is the root cause?

@brunman31 go ahead and send us a direct message with your full name and the service address, and we will take a look what is going on with the interruptions. Need to narrow it down more than just a zip code as the issues more than likely are linked to a smaller area. 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support: 
Click "Sign In" if necessary 
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging 
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there 
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list 
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line 
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
Press Enter to send it.
