Internet outage!

Hello, it’s been days now that the storm has past and still no internet!  my wife works from home and we are loosing out on money because you guys keep saying you are waiting for areas to be deemed safe, or tell us to check the forum for updates. I’m a firefighter in Houston and I can tell you the area is pretty much clear for you guys to come out and do your job. [Edit: Personal Information] is the address to the resident area and many other people are affected! We need the internet back on please and I would really appreciate it if you actually give me and the people some real answers, not just give us an eta because clearly that doesn’t mean anything. You guys are going to loose a lot of customers.

@H-Town_FireFighter first off we want to thank you for your service of being a Firefighter second we hope you and your loved ones are safe. We understand many of our customers use our Xfinity entertainment service for working from home as I do the same. Our teams in your area are working as fast as possible to restore service to you and many others and appreciate your feedback about your experience and letting us know your location is safe. When it comes to repaired needing to be completed due to the large amount of damage that was done we have to start with the location further down the line in order to get service moving to your location. We hope you can understand that It's not just as easy as connecting your cable and having service, if our head unit or optic fibers have been damaged it can take many days to repair. Thank you again for your patience. 

You see this has been more helpful then anyone else has since the network went out. I appreciate you getting back to me and giving more insight on the matter. Giving a real answer to the customers is what we want/need and you delivered that well. Thank you! and hopefully the net work is powered up again soon.
