Internet out after new line installed - Support and technicians not helpful

I had a temporary line which was working. Today they came to install new underground line.  Since the new line has been installed my internet has been out.  I spoke with and agent and an escalation agent and the best they can do is get someone out tomorrow.  I find this very concerning and this should never have happened. Before leaving a customer site after making a change why was the customer not ensure the system is back up and running?  I am extremely dissatisfied with the response from support and escalation that nothing we can do remote nor can we get someone back out to rectify the issue in the same day.  Even plugging my modem direct into the outside line, it does not get a connection, I did this with the escalation agent and still not able to get someone out to rectify the issue immediately (meaning the same day).  Thus all the troubleshooting shows that the issue is outside, not inside.  I have a direct line from outside to inside for the modem so no splitters or otherwise that could contribute to these issues.  Again extremely disappointed with support and response when an issue that was cause by your people doing a change is not rectified before leaving a site.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

cosmicray0973 We’re sorry your internet stopped working after the new line was installed, especially since it was working on the temporary line. We understand why waiting until tomorrow is frustrating. You’ve already tested the modem directly at the outside line, so we don’t want to have you repeat those steps. We’d like to check whether anything sooner is available and make sure that test is documented for the technician. Has tomorrow’s repair appointment been confirmed?

No and that is part of the problem.  I am told I am on a waitlist, but not necessarily a guarantee that someone will be here to rectify the issue tomorrow morning between 8-10 AM.
