Internet Line Not Buried!

We built and moved into a home in September. Prior to that, we began the process of contacting Xfinity to set up internet service. After weeks of waiting for that, a technician came and said he wasn’t able to install the permanent underground line (for reasons we still aren’t clear on because no one we have chatted with at Xfinity can actually tell us), but he gave us an above ground temp line. He said all he can do is make sure the team who buries the lines is aware we need that…that was 2 months ago.  We have chatted via the online customer service feature literally 6 times over the same amount of weeks, and each time the person says “a technician is scheduled to come bury your line this week” and NOT ONCE has someone actually showed. We are at our wits end with this, and the fact that no one actually answers the phone when you try to call and speak with someone makes this worse. We are in PA and worry that soon the ground will start to freeze and they will say they can’t do it until the spring.

We literally just have a temp line going through our yard AND OUR NEIGHBORS YARD and it has been that way for 2 months.

Every other new build

home on our street has their Xfinity lines buried, just not us. It makes no sense and we keep being lied to by the online reps saying someone will be here. WE NEED HELP!!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_5jpgit thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums, you've contacted the right place for assistance. With being new to forums, I understand if your not familiar with the process. With the forums being a community gathering place you'll want to ensure you're posting on the correct board to get employee assistance, our great forum expert @EG moved your post over to bring this to my attention. Please be mindful that sending unsolicited Direct Messages to an Official Employee of the Xfinity Community Forum is a violation of Forum Guidelines. In the future we ask that you please find the most appropriate public board for your question type and post it there. If needed, we may invite you to send us a Direct Message.

I'd definitely like to look into the underground line work completion for you, as typically these types of jobs get worked in around 14 business days. Since you've already sent the direct message, I'll follow up with you there to investigate further.
