Internet in neighborhood goes down every day

For the last 1-2 weeks the internet in my neighborhood has gone down almost every day. I'm not the only one having this problem. The last time we had a neighborhood-wide issue, Xfinity customer service was practically useless. I learned their script by heart and every time I called I had to explain that the problem was not inside my house as the whole neighborhood had the same problem.

Does anybody know how to reach someone who will actually try to help?Troubleshooting through the app just tells me "I've found an issue with the signal to your home" or it tells me there is no problem. In either case, I think it tells me to unplug the modem and then plug it back in.

I live in the Atlanta, GA area, and I'm using my own modem and router. I have no idea if the other neighbors are using their own equipment or Xfinity's equipment.

The concern is not "E-mail" help related......... Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

You have come to the right place @Mitch_R2.I understand how even just a couple of seconds of interruption can effect you in today's world and I would love to help get things back on track. In order to get started please send a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account. I will pop some instructions on how to send a direct message below.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
